Birthday sign tampered with

IT’S NOT FAIR! THAT WAS THE BEST ONE YET, AND THEY TAMPERED WITH IT! IT’S NOT FAIR!

I won’t calm down, but I will stop screaming. Sigh. It’s not fair!

It was Emily C’s birthday today. This morning I made her birthday sign—three lamps and words in balloons saying, “The lamps wish you a happy birthday, and we do, too!” The lamp thing is an inside joke. If I may say so, I think this sign is the best one I’ve done yet, or it at least ties with Emily S’s changed mouse and is better than Jessica’s, which had on it the purple cow and the pink and purple pokadotted penguins.

Jeez, it was even the best when it came to signatures! I think more people signed this sign than any of the others—Kim’s, Jessica’s, Nicki’s, Caitie’s, Emily S’s, Becca’s and all the others included. We had signatures Heather, Caitie, Kim C, Kim K, Megan, Emily S, Emmi M, someone whose name I do not know, Regan, and probably some other people whom I have forgotten. The signs never have that many names on them!

Emily C never saw her sign. Someone STOLE it! She saw the sign that Jessie and Catie put up there, but she didn’t see mine. Yep, mine was the only one taken. The one with Jessie and Catie’s signatures on it and one that said happy birthday from Ringo (Beatles sign in the left hand corner, Catie most likely put it up) were both still there, but mine was missing.

This has happened before. Becca’s sign was tampered with—it was moved to a different locker. Now Emily’s was taken down completely. Though, not the first thing. When I went to bring Emmi to the locker to sign the sign, I found it messed up—crushed a bit, and on the side. I figured it had been Regan, since she was the last one to sign it. Though, why would Regan? She wouldn’t. It had to be other students.

It wasn’t the janitor, either. There was another birthday today, someone named Kathrine. Her locker is covered with signs, both the front and the top. They’re all still there. Besides, wouldn’t the janitor have taken all the signs if he was taking them, instead of just one?

So why was the lamp birthday sign taken? Probably because it was mine. My name is the first one on there. I know I’m disliked. Things of mine get ruined all the time, or trampled, or whatever. Or I’m even trampled. The others are still there. Mine is gone. That’s the only reason I can think of. Hey, I get it all the time. People dislike me, so stuff happens. I think this may be the same thing. I have a very strong feeling that this is the same thing. Either that, or I’m just mad and making an excuse.

The fact remains that it was my sign that was stolen. MY sign that was the BEST of the ones I have done so far. The one with the MOST signatures (Emily C’s popular!). And it’s GONE! It’s NOT fair!
